Parking
The Concordia Theatre offers patrons free secure parking for all evening performances as part of our customer service programme. The Britannia Centre car park is straight across the road from the theatre and parking is free for patrons. The car park is open from 6:30PM - 7:45PM and then the gates are locked until 9:30PM where they remain open until 11:15PM. Please note that all cars should be removed from the car park before this time. The Concordia Theatre regrets that it is presently unable to offer this service for matinee performances.

Doors Open
For evening performances the theatre opens its doors at 7:00PM for a 7:30PM curtain up. Entrance to the auditorium varies between shows but is usually around 20 minutes prior to the performance.
For Saturday matinee performances the theatre is open from 2:00PM for a 2:30PM curtain up.
For Sunday performances the theatre opens its doors at 1:30PM for a 2:00PM matinee curtain up and 6:30PM for a 7:00PM evening curtain up.

Loop System
The whole of the theatre's auditorium is equipped with the loop system to benefit our hard of hearing patrons. To make full use of this please switch your hearing aid to the 'T' position when entering the auditorium. Please ask a member of the front of house staff for more information or if you require assistance. Certain performances are sign interpreted, please call the box office for details.

Guide Dogs
Guide dogs are welcome at the Concordia Theatre and staff will be happy to assist blind and visually impaired patrons to their seats and around the theatre. However, an assistant would be beneficial to help navigate the numerous steps and stairs. If you would like to discuss these details please call the box office prior to the performance.

Wheelchairs and Disabled Patrons
We regret to inform patrons that due to our operating licence restrictions we are unable to accommodate wheelchairs in the auditorium. However we are happy to help disabled patrons to their seats. Please enquire about this before booking tickets.

Auditorium
The Concordia Theatre's auditorium seats 400 patrons. At present tickets are booked individually with each society and seats are allocated on a first come-first served basis. The best seats going to the earliest bookings. The proximity of the auditorium allows for excellent viewing and sound from all seats and therefore 'being at the back' will not hinder your viewing pleasure. For special needs with regards to seating (aisle seats etc.) please contact the box office. As a guide the best leg room is available on 'A' row at the front as there is a gangway in front of them, however these seats are in close proximity to the stage, which is raised by 3ft.

Theatre Programme in audio CD format
An audio CD of the theatre programme has been prepared. Primarily produced for those with sight impairment, this is available to anyone who requires it. Details of the programme, ticket prices, contact numbers etc., are included and this will be updated at the commencement of each half season. Copies can be obtained from the Theatre Publicity Officer on 01455 847676 or via the Contact Us page.

Talks for groups and societies
The Theatre Publicity Officer is always happy to give talks on the Concordia Theatre. This can be given at your usual meeting venue together with a slide show or visits to the Concordia Complex can be arranged. If you would like further details regarding this, please contact Judy Peatfield (Publicity Officer) on 01455 847676 or via the Contact Us page.
