BADS was formed in 1963 by a small group of local enthusiasts. Rehearsing in their own clubhouse beside the old village hall. Since then, they have been based in the bungalow at the entrance to the new village hall car park, rehearsing Mondays and Wednesdays.

The society does 3 productions a year, February and May in the village hall, and October at the Concordia Theatre Hinckley. The type of plays tackled range from straight drama to outrageous farce.

We are always looking for new members and you don’t need to be Laurence Olivier to join. If you don’t fancy acting, then maybe you would like to work backstage, building sets, making costumes, doing lighting and sound. Whatever job in the theatre you fancy tackling, we can let you have a go.

Pop along to the bungalow, you will always receive a warm welcome.
